Dean Dipak Jain: Creating INSEAD MBA Module for AbuDhabi



Summary of his comments at ILSME:

If INSEAD is to be the true Business School for the Word and expand its mission to attract, develop, and retain talent, it must have a presence in Abu Dhabi and an on-going dalogue with Abu Dhabi leadership.


At the INSEAD Leadership Summit Middle East, Dean Dipak Jain outlined the school's expanded plans for its Abu Dhabi mission and plans to increase INSEAD's regional presence, including:


  • Launch the INSEAD MBA module in Abu Dhabi - bring INSEAD MBA students to Abu Dhabi for field study;
  • Conduct research workshops with facuty from local universties ("training the trainers");
  • Build a Middle East hub for talent development;
  • Promote existing EDP and EMBA programs in the region to attract students;
  • Spur entrepreneurship and innovation in the region;
  • Offer workshops on writing research papers for publication in top-rated journals;
  • Encourage entrepreneurial activies and other programs of interest to local youth.
